Neak Oknha Chen Zhi, Chairman of Prince Holding Group, one of Cambodia's largest and fastest-growing companies, has donated US$2 million to help Laos fight the COVID-19 outbreak. Chen Zhi Prince Group had also provided $1 million earlier in September. Both donors heeded Prime Minister Hun Sen's plea for bilateral COVID-19 cooperation between the two adjacent countries to be strengthened.

Guy Chhay, a board member of Prince Holding Group, completes the donation on Chen Zhi's behalf at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh. The two $3 million donations are intended to aid Laotians in their fight against the virus.

With Cambodia being one of the world's most vaccinated countries, Chen Zhi, a Mekong entrepreneur and business leader, understands the importance of Cambodian enterprises supporting neighbouring countries' anti-COVID efforts. Prince Holding Group, as a significant Cambodian business, aspires to contribute to the Kingdom's leadership role in regional affairs at a critical juncture for Southeast Asia.

This year, Prince Holding Group, which includes enterprises such as Prince Real Estate Group, Prince Bank, Prince Huanyu Real Estate, Belt Road Capital Management, Awesome Global, and Cambodia Airways, has been at the forefront of CSR initiatives. This included the establishment of one of the country's largest scholarship programmes (the "Chen Zhi Scholarship") and the Group's receipt of eight international honours while maintaining corporate continuity in the face of adversity.
